Seriously, Wraith players with 3k dmg badge or better are generally the WORST kind of players you can have as a random teammate.Dropping where ever they want regardless of the jumpmasters mark, always running 10-20 second ahead solo, always think they can 1v3 everyone and insta-leaves as soon as they get knocked, even if you are right beside them as Lifeline. I am not far from the truth when I say that at least 3/5 random "high skilled" Wraiths players act like this. I honestly rather have two mediocre teammates that plays as a team than a pro Wraith player who acts like this. In best case scenario, he will just carry you to a win but how fun is that?And the sad part is that I understand why they do it. There are literally NO incentives why NOT to act like this if your main goal is to get many kills and high dmg numbers. You die; just drop into a new game and try again. Thats most likely much faster than having your banner picked up and perhaps eventually respawned, and by then, your chance of getting +3k dmg or 20 kills is already long gone. You can really say that Respawn designed this game to be a bad experience for solo players, playing with randoms.

@Balladalidila I commend this thread for accurately describing 70-80% of Wraith mains.I wouldn't say I MAIN Wraith but she is my most played Legend. I cannot tell you how many times my ally playing with the bald wraith skin and also has the heirloom solo launches to Fragment, gets about 3 knockdowns, gets knocked and leaves the game.

You complain about bad teammates, I complain about pro Wraith players

@BalladalidilaAs a wraith main as someone who does run ahead. I can say this. I dont play apex lets loot the entire game legends. The game is about action and there is no action in looting.

Now this is not me saying that some dont need loot. What i mean is if you got a gun your comfy shooting if you got a armor a helmet a few heals and ammo. Does the players really need to spend 10 minutes filling the entire inventory bag space?

That is why people move ahead. We have what we need to engage and win a fight. Others have the need to fill every single slot of their bag space before thinking ok im ready to fight. This is why i run ahead.

You should be playing titanfall battle royals in genral have about 1/100 of the action of that.

Well it looks like we quite alike when playing pubs. I am also an aggressive player who hate to loot for the sake of hording, but there is a huge difference between being an aggressive player who always are looking for fights and the player type I described.
I am talking about the kind of players who breaks off from the jump master and goes somewhere else and who are 2-3 areas ahead of the rest of the team. I also run ahead sometimes, but I dont engage a full team at close range when my teammates are 15 seconds behind me, dies and start rage about them being noobs before quitting.
I am talking about the kind of players who literally dont give a crap about what you communicate. I just had such a Wraith in my team. I literally spammed "need a weapon", because I had no weapon. He just kept running towards the area next to us to third party. I kept spamming "need a weapon". He went in, died in an instant, wrote "noob Lifeline (me) not helping" and then left the game =)
And just like I wrote in the OP; I understand why people do this. The game is designed to be like this since wins means nothing and fights/dmg/kills means everything and its quicker to quit and find a new game than to stay and get revived.. I just said I rather have worse teammates than me in my team but who are just a tad more team oriented, than super skilled players who just think about themselves. So you can see it as reply/counter to all threads I see on this forum that complain about "low skill teammates".

Just after I wrote this post, I jumped into a game and it happened again =)
Bloodhound was jumpmaster. Wraith pinged the vault outside Artillery but BH choose the area next to market. We landed and successfully 2 v 3 the team in Market, just t realize that Wraith wasn't even with us. Then he just quit =)

@E9ine_AC and if I dont have a comfy weapon, or not even a shield or med cells( or just two), or just bad luck of the loot. Happens that i only got a P2020 a white shield, and nothing else, cause some ninja looter tooks everything.
think a little bit about others. Did they have what they want. And not: I have everything, lets go hunting, get killed, and expect others to kill 2 guys with a p2020 for example.

a "ready for fight" button would be nice.

Just happened again, broke off from me as jumpmaster and jumped somewhere else, away from the squad, leaving us in a 2v3 fight (which we won) .. And as always *drum roll* a Wraith player.
He even gave us attitude about it afterwards on the voice channel, pretty much saying that "this is not a team game and I dont give a #### about you". I respect that attitude; everyone should be allowed to play this game however they want and we are on a slippery slope if we start punishing certain behaviors but maybe the game should recognize that kind of player behavior and place them without teammates for some games? If you dont want to play with a team, why should they get a team then?

@E9ine_AC That's not always the case. Some wraith player just literally loot everything from deathbox without even bother to share some with teammates, this literally leave the teammates with little to no reserve ammo or healing item to continue the fight.

Then you also have a wraith that doesn't even bother to re-position the team before re-engage with the enemy, despite warning from teammates that the entire squad was in disadvantage.

@Balladalidila I mostly main Wraith, while using Lifeline in Ranked, because let's face it: Most teammates are as useful as a P2020 with no ammo.

However, this is something I dislike as well. I've also seen Octanes, Bloodhounds, Bangalores, and Revenants run off as well, while it's not common, it still happens. It's mostly the Octanes that are second in the whole "running off into Narnia".

The problem is, the game is too busy catering to these kinds of people, same with toxic people and other kinds of players that negatively impacts gameplay. The only way to really solve it, is to put all these players onto the same team, so everyone else don't have to deal with them being on their team. Like, it be so much easier having to deal with a random Wraith that ran off, then being that Wraith's teammates against the team.

But, again, it's not like it's going to be fixed because the game works in their favor. Not to mention that you make it sound like the Wraiths are "pro" players. Most "pro" players are taking part in the ALGS Autumn Circuit as well. That being said, why would they ever want to "ruin" this random Wraith's "gameplay", when getting all the players in a line could hurt their ALGS events?

In other words, people thinking they can 1vs the server is pretty much the purpose of the ALGS tourney. Except, they're given a team and a cash prize goal. I'm just trying to say, there's a lot of players who think only about themselves. Hard to make them not be selfish.

I do it. I leave them with the massage: "great teamplay, sorry, but I don't have time to waste"

next match starts in few sec with better mates...
