Your game is dying because of cheaters

will this post be useless? Because it is unbelieveble how many time I get lasered. So many people are so good, have an aim just spot on. I find it hard to believe honestly. So here is it. This g...

    Hi @Bertonnyh 

    Respawn Entertainment is aware of the cheater issue and has been finding ways to resolve it. I'm not sure if you heard, but they have hired somebody to review suspicious situations and ban guilty cheaters, which is a sign progress is being made.

    Yes, I agree, cheating is a huge issue but luckily I can assure you that the team is looking into it.

That's all just talk.

They could hire 200+ engineers and they WILL. NEVER. STOP. CHEATING.

1. It's Free to play. Get banned, get another email address, keep playing. If they hardware ban, there are EASY ways to spoof your hardware IDs.

2. The people making the cheats get tons of money from the losers who want to use their cheats. They are funded better than the devs.

3. If a cheat gets detected, the cheat is updated and bypasses detection.

4. Even though it's a violation of the EULA, Respawn won't do anything if they catch a hacker. They won't charge $5000+ fines, they won't mandate prison sentences or community service... cause it's bad PR (go figure; that's the society we live in; we vilify the corporation for protecting its livlihood and property) Besides, the financial cost to take these people to court doesn't warrant the time and effort.

5. Respawn knows for a dev that gamers talk big, but they forget even bigger. As much as cheaters ruin your experience. You'll forget by the time Apex 2 comes out, and you'll go all in on that game too, being just as baffled when it, too, succumbs to cheats that Respawn just gives you lip service on that they're handling.

Pft. The the rate of QA failure I've seen lately; they have bigger issues than rampant hacking.

@Aegis_Kleais Heh that is quite wrong. Many companies inside the united states will go after a cheating source at times if operating inside the same country. 5000 is nothing when ive sent them over a grand alone myself. They most certainly have a case just by shear numbers. From 70 million to around 1m at peak times which has destroyed the players response. Which then causes loss of revenue due to cheats interupting players game play and expierience.

The industry believe it or not is a multi million dollar company. Many you can look up by just websites and see after pulling information on said company then just pull their information from government open source documents. Shows where the company is owned and net worth. Many of these are in the millions.

I doubt they would do it would need a good legal team but the option will always be there if they did research.

    Example of loss of revenue this company is losing due to cheaters running off good players and loyal. This with with all 70 million based on a low end.

    Season 1 say even 50 million of the 70 million at its peak bought a battle pass for 10 bucks. That is 500 million. From battle passes alone from just 50 million people! 

    Say season 1 to 4 50 million packs have been bought. As ive bought thousands myself. This is based on the very very low end mind you. Again thats 500 million from just packs.

    Season 5 Only around 1 million on line at the time i write this post. Low end marketing way of thinking for me also. 

    Battle passes bought by 750 thousand people out of that million. 7.5 million dollars. 

    Packs bought from season 4 to 5 guesstimation id say maybe around 10 million. again 7.5 million dollars. 

    This is a fundamental leap in revenue. Sure a lot players may went to other games as they did not enjoy the apex experience but lets be honest here a majority of pro and regular players have left because of cheaters and lack of support of the cheaters. 

    The we are taking this serious and hired a new guy well for players with logical thoughts this means you are 1 year to late.

    You are dropping some heavy defensive stuff down here,multi milion dollar company who gives multi milion fks about it's community,land on earth please and get out of your shell then see what the real problems are,stop being in this defensive stance all the * time,solve the problems stop buying us with words,we actually spend money on these empty words,can you believe this?
