Your game is dying because of cheaters

@PinguinGummihals It would not be too bad even for 1 person with only 1 million online. Can easily run a query on the db for certain stats at what level ect. I would hope by now logs now can see hit rate and miss rate when in battle. My first query literally would be any level 50 or below with 20 bomb. K/D ratio games played, hit or miss ratio, head shot hit rate, Win rate and rank currently. Then work way up from there. This then could make a list of those who should be monitored. I wish they also would check these low levels and pair them with party members they currently had on those logs. Then id check rank of those 2 or 3 and if boosted id de rank them to bronze.

@Bertonnyh I've been playing FPS games since the very first R6, there were hackers then too.

It's more the fault of the pathetic humans that cheat rather than the company trying very hard to counter it. Apex is 100% free and still is a lot of fun for me, even though I encounter cheaters.

@Aegis_Kleais They can not stop but they sure can make a dent or slow them down. If people like myself who has never had any schooling can decompile things i would hope those hired can decompile for the money they are paid. I have done a lot work with some big games. I can say this as i have before To Catch A Cheater Hire A Cheater.

You hire someone who can decompile their builds and find out exactly what it is doing. This most likely wont be someone with some major schooling or degrees. What you want is those of us who sit at home and make our life about code and programming. I am by no means asking for a job or a task to stop them. I am simply saying hiring a hacker who kinda does this for a living will grant 100% results. Decompile their build find the offsets its using and shut it down change offsets daily stop waiting for patches.

Stop sending information to the client from the server that grants wall hacks because it sends the information before the players should see it. If little ole me who has sat on a computer for over 15 years for 15 hours a day can decompile builds best believe one their paid employees should be able to also.

If the new guy who is hired is unable to accomplish this then he is not the right person for the job. He will make zero difference other then to luckily ban maybe 50 players a day maybe more who knows. But why not shut it down daily? Patch every single day changing how they would build their builds every single day. Might be hard work to change things here and there for the update but think of money it would save the company removing cheaters. This wont only remove cheaters it will hit them where it hurts. Their pockets because no one is gonna buy aimbot speed hacks ect when it only works for hours of the day. Because believe it or not that hacker has to then decompile the apex build / client to build his hacks which would take hours upon hours. Meaning their hack programs for apex would be down for hours until its just not worth their time to try update everything.

I am just a guy at home who has done exploit team work for better of 15 years and marketing. Everything is taken into account when i think of these things.

@Bertonnyh I haven't found cheating to be as big of an issue, actually? Maybe I'm just getting lucky, but I haven't run into anyone who I genuinely think is cheating in over 200 games now. With Season 6 it damn well feels like more people are cheating than ever before, but I'm garbage at the game and I've dropped dozens of people in less than a second with a lucky few shots because of the reduced time to kill.

All it takes is a few good shots on the head and you're absolutely obliterated. Running a spitfire or R301 with a 3x, if you manage to sneak up to ~50m range on someone you can absolutely demolish them before they even know where you're shooting from now. On the flip side, you also get absolutely obliterated if someone rolls up on you without you knowing...
