@hayhorWhat about the 3rd party undetectable hardware for console? It's undetectable, so we do not even have numbers on it yet. This fix IS coming looking at COD news with their coming solution, and it might be an even bigger problem than we realize, who knows, pc controller cheats might seem small in comparison. Pc is the only platform actively banning players, or am I missing something? I'm curious to say the least.

What? What did we do? We already have the recoil cheater "people" and now you want us to have your aimbotters and wallhackers as well? Literally a nutty suggestion.
- 3 years ago@Unitee01 My gut seriously feels like there are more people exploiting anti-recoil macros on console ranked lobbies than there are cheaters using hacks in PC lobbies.
And look, a lot of people use strikepacks for the paddles, but the idea that the majority of them aren’t using macros sounds silly to me. I try to have open and non-judgmental convos with randoms on ranked. I don’t go longer than a week without a teammate admitting to me that their using anti-recoil exploits. The common thing I hear is “bro everyone is using them in these lobbies, why put yourself at a disadvantage?”
Makes me so angry lol.- hayhor3 years agoHero
@Axs5626Sxa5001Having played in both console and pc lobbies the amount of cheats I've seen in PC compared to console isn't even close. And that's the blatant ones. On console you need to buy a device. On PC you only have to get some software. And you can soft cheat to make it appear you are not. But guess what, the hardware ones work on PC too.
Do plenty cheat on console? Sure but you'd have to pay me to regularly game on PC.
- 3 years ago@hayhor Fair enough— you play in PC lobbies so you can speak to that.
- 3 years ago@Axs5626Sxa5001 Yep, I'm thinking the same thing honestly. You are not the 1st person to say this to me either. They banned many pc players over the years but no console players.
You know what's funny? Activision / COD already know the number of players using 3rd party hardware, but according to the latest post I saw where they discussed their coming steps for such players they stated they will "make life uncomfortable for anyone using 3rd part hardware". Apparently via giving them in game ping spikes by something like 150ms for eg. or something like that.. And it "could" lead to future ban. Now, this already don't seem right to me. They will outright ban a pc player using no recoil, but 3rd part hardware designed to do the same does not warrant the same action? I'm guessing here, but I think they were probably surprised at the number of people using these devices and banning that many players out right might be bad for player numbers? We'll see, but I can't wait to see the numbers, if they ever do get released for Apex, once detection is implemented of course. I'm also curious on the sales numbers for these devices on Amazon as it could give you an idea in the meantime, but I don't see it anywhere, thousands of ratings and reviews though...
