¿ Hemlok vs Nemesis ?

Talk ta me.

Which is better?

Why one and not the other?

I enjoyed the Hemlok for a bit, but had a nice run with the Nemesis. It felt like it was hitting hharder. But feel like I may be misled

I do like that I can change the Hem to single fire which I find useful at longer ranges and preferring to the G7 currently.

Just curious on what insight and advice you legends may have.

Hands down the Hemi has more versatility IMHO and it would be my choice of the two.

Hemi:

3rnd burst shreds at close and mid ranges.

However the 3'rnd bursts are unforgiving, if you miss shots.

Mid to long rng single fire with a 3x or the 2x-4x is just great for shield farming and weakening the opponents for the push.

Nemisis:

Is a real monster as per DPS especially at close rng.

ROF and DPS close range is a lot more forgiving than the Hemi and better than the Hemi.

Mid range it is ok.

Long range is not all that great IMHO.

@1ronKeys My opinion is try them and see which you like more. In a pros hands I think the nemesis wins due to the fact it becomes automatic and pros can use it with a 3x or 2x4 scope and destroy people as if it's a sniper. Personally I like the hemlock better. I feel like a hemlock is easier to control and I don't like the inconsistent fire rate or the nemesis.

@hayhor Yeah I been trying them and can't seem to decide.

Like I said I thought Nemesis was hitting harder. But sometimes hemlok seems decent, just feels glassy in comparison.

I guess Nemsis could work well as a Ballastic sling weapon.

@1ronKeys Last season I was devout Nemesis user, but since the balancing changes to it I find myself leaving it for a hemlock most times. I usually try and either get a Hemlock or G7 these days but honestly I find the Hemlock a lot more versatile especially with a 3x sight.

@EA_Rtas Thanks for your reply!

The 3x? I would struggle with that in closer fights. I used to be a menace with the G7 and a fixed blue sight.

Used to love the 1x2 sight, but sometimes preferening the more open view of the fixed sights.

@1ronKeys I personally prefer the 2x over the 3 but with Storm Point and Olympus in the rotation those longer range engagements I find need the extra distance from the 3x

Both just ok for me, though I recognize that objectively they are extremely good. For me Nemesis is a placeholder for an LStar, and the Hemi the same but for the Flatline.

I've been a fan since I started playing in S7, but yeah, the current LStar is, if anything, even slightly better than when it was in the care package. For me (stressing the personal preference part) the only thing the Nemesis is better for is at like 60+ meters.

@1ronKeysLstar is crazy right now. I'm with panda. All energy floor guns are placeholders for an lstar. I'm so glad there's no top level algs right now so there's not a lot of whining about it.

If you feel that both guns are similar that is good. It means you can use either as they are balanced.
Oh and I'm a hemlock with a 3x person. Up closer the hemlock hip fire is really strong.
