120fps on mobile before Next Gen consoles????? what's the deal????????

Well, it's Mid July of 2022... Apex Legends is still chugging along at a whopping 60fps on console....  I haven't played this game since the "Next Gen" update came, and to everyone's surprise, no 120hz support for PS5 or XBOX series X/S....  that was back in March...  When we got a brief statement from the DEV's that 120fps mode was of high priority and would be in an upcoming update...  Can we get an update about this update?  There have been 4 or 5 updates since that March update and still no 120fps update, so are you up to date with what I am asking?  Update: 120fps coming to mobile...  Really...  .Mobile is going to see 120fps before CONSOLES????  SMFH.  EA, Respawn, you are leaving me speechless.... I mean I don't know what to even think or say...  maybe just... sad.

    @Srksii The comments "not made by respawn that's why" are a bit poor. When respawn made apex they had a limited outlook on how it would do. They had no idea how big it would blow up. The game was released with very little publicity, that how much EA thought it had a chance to be big. This meant they were restricted on what they were allowed to do and had to make concessions on certain things. The mobile development process started well after the success of Apex which is why it's included.

    Should it be a thing by now? I think so and am disappointed it is not but again, someone somewhere is holding it back and its not likely the respawn studio.

    @Srksii Not really. They have 75 respawn devs working with the main mobile dev team. They’re just faster and working with a non-ancient engine.

    @Cheese9Man They can hire 175 developers, but its Tencent now respawn and EA dont have vote there.

    Gotcha.  Well, I hope it’s soon.  I am starting to play it on the PC now, so not as much caring.  But I would like to play it on the bigger screen once they fix it on console.  I was just surprised mobile was such a thing, I couldn’t imagine trying to play Apex against others on a tiny mobile screen.
