Okay what I noticed, the new rank changes drove a quite a few players away, and me as well, maybe the rank changes benefit some players at a higher level, but not solo players like me.And in my opinion it shows in pubs, now there are more diamond / master players.And for me it's not just the rank changes.Loot pool is horrible, mostly attachments and ammo.Really surprised that none of the Respawn dev's eye got hit about the amount of heavy weapons, for me it killed the gun varietyI hate Storm Point (personal opinion I know), I was looking forward for the map change so I might like it a bit more, well we all know how that endedAnd what I really hate the most, this new ratting and corner camping playstyle what took over.I am not saying this is the worst season because it is not, we had worse seasons for this, but for me it is a mediocre season, that had the most negative impact on a huge amount of players.I haven't played since day 3 of this season, and for some magical reason I don't miss it at allSo what are your thoughts? I used to play between 4 and 6 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since Seer's introduction....I believe that was season 11, this game died for me. Still played it the same, just didn't enjoy it.This season, I have only played 4 times and no more than 3 games at a time. It is just not the game I fell in love with. The direction the Dev's seem to be going, is just not for me. Agreed, the loot pool is just awful now and stale and can't find a gun these days I even wish to use. Legend balance issues also doesn't help me play more. Reveal and scan meta is trash. And lost hope in Respawn moving this game in the right direction. Worst of all - the cheating and cheaters left to rule this game into Titan Fall fate. I will not play much until the G7 comes back - then I'll grind again with it until the above gets to me again. RIP Apex ☹️

I have definitely cut back on playing. Honestly I am only playing to get the content from the battle pass I stupidly paid for, but the game has really lost its “fun” appeal. Too sweaty and not great for someone who works 12-hour days and wants to relax with friends at the end of it. Playing a lot more Halo now. My friends are all feeling the same way. About 7 of us and we have all moved on to other games for the most part.

@OldTreeCreeper Given up on rank this split too. I’ll probably just want to get to gold then try again next split. I guess no diamond rank for me and the boys this season if no changes happen in the second split.

I hard played the new ranked system up to Gold, but I think I'm not having fun with it anymore, the way it causes people to play (and you better believe it is not as a team).
Public games have become more fun than ranked, but it's Pubs, so it has its typical nonsense. I've spent less time on Apex over the past few days, we'll see how it goes.

@Renegade_Prime86 I've cut back my play time. I check map tracker before I get on. If its SP I don't bother. And I won't touch ranked even with a map change. I don't want to play a game that's 15 minutes or nothing just for that short burst of action at the end.

Just won our first game after playing 3 hours. We had to sweat our butts off every game since everyone had one masters player in their squad. I was screaming at the mic when we won. Did not enjoy that game session at all except for that win. Now I’m understanding @Axs5626Sxa5001 more. LMAO.

@Renegade_Prime86 Honestly? It's one of the best things I've played in years. It's difficult tho, but to me that's good, plus it's open world so the difficulty slider is entirely in your hands. Some of the areas of the map are so gorgeous that when I first got the game I just wondered around and looked at stuff for hours lol. There's a ton of stuff to do, there's a lot of replay value which I wasn't expecting, many builds to try, and and the map is huge. So much fun!

Season opening was very rough. My main bud and I played three sessions last week and felt discouraged enough to take some time off. Started up again yesterday with my other friends and had a great session. I literally tripled my stats from the week prior, playing like maybe 8-10 games, and clutched a win. So, I'm having hopes for a decent season after all. I'm hoping that lower tier ranked will straighten itself out by this week's end or so after more people manage to climb a bit.

Yeah, basically doing my 2 matches a day as ________ for easy stars, then playing games that actually give me single player content and respect my time.
