Season opening was very rough. My main bud and I played three sessions last week and felt discouraged enough to take some time off. Started up again yesterday with my other friends and had a great session. I literally tripled my stats from the week prior, playing like maybe 8-10 games, and clutched a win. So, I'm having hopes for a decent season after all. I'm hoping that lower tier ranked will straighten itself out by this week's end or so after more people manage to climb a bit.
Yeah, basically doing my 2 matches a day as ________ for easy stars, then playing games that actually give me single player content and respect my time.
Nah, but that's not s13's fault. That's the fault of the direction the game has taken over several seasons. I.e. more of the dumb stuff, Tridents, NPC's, dumb legends who can all scan/reveal, constant Lifeline nerfing, etc.. And also because I'm enjoying progressing with my clan on Conan Exiles recently. But s10, or whatever season Seer got introduced, was the season I played the least, as I didn't play at all.
Only jump in for treasure pack and events really, except it's been like this for several seasons. Never cared for ranked, keep getting noobs with no idea what to do, general content is lacking, mobile being proof "firing range etc". First matched of the day, a random Horizon lands us, Literally turned 6 times until he pings a spot, and that's cause separated from him. Noticed another squad, not dumb enough to solo push, so I ping and go meet up with them, no budge, still looting, but now I have the delusion that their just getting ready "they weren't". Horizon pings a new spot to rotate too, I follow, then realize when we get their that BH sat their ignoring both, then solo pushed the squad I warned them about "dies ofcourse". Were too far to get back to him "had first pick, wanted to keep practicing with NC" and I noticed Horizon's godly warzone loadout of sniper and RE "their were plenty of alternators that they past by, and from past experience it's console code for - I'll never push, so you two 2v3 while I miss every shot". Had to go afk and left the match, got 8th place "it's WE and only 5:37 in time, devs need to get rid of Frag"
Motivated? With this SBMM/EBMM - nope.
Sometimes I play to do the challenges for battle pass, that's it.
I had many wins in season 11 around 170, in season 12 I had half that, now I have 5. NO incentive to play at all.
