Abandon Penalty after game crash

I am not abandoning my matches, but every time I open this game I get hit with crash after crash before it really connects and lets me play.

I should not be penalized for the game crashing. I know this is a well known issue, but this season has been so bad I'm unable to play a match the first three or four times I try. I only play ranked. I should not have to purposefully get kicked from a pubs match on repeat just to test the server to see if I can hop into ranked without a crash.

Is there ANY info on a fix for this?
