@Yohimbay LOL look at one of those threads that I showed this was already mentioned there. @CCbathwater your boy snipedown is in here again. LOL.
Also, this isn’t a messaging app where you expect people to reply immediately. We have other things to do than cry about controllers.
I mean, everyone here knows MnK has a higher skill ceiling— this is expressed through precision aim and movement, not to mention some of the other mechanics only accessible by mnk.
So am I allowed to say “hey that’s not fair, I don’t have those privileges” when playing someone who can jitter aim and strafe while looting and etc?
I think we just have to accept that controller will have some advantages up close and MnK will have other advantages. It’s totally mature to acknowledge that. But in the sake of being mature, we should definitely admit that the advantages of MnK outweigh the advantage of AA. To suggest otherwise is just being dishonest.
Outcomes matter. ALGS isn’t being dominated by controller players; it’s being dominated by MnK players. Same for all of the other games that have comp that allow for both inputs.
But ultimately, threads like this will continue to be made because crossplay is pretty much forced on PC players.

@Axs5626Sxa5001I don't understand why you say that MnK have some aspects that the controller can't do?
Or how MnK has higher skill cieling.
You say MnK has advantages over controller and controller has other with AA.
What advantages are you talking about exactly? You mentioned mechanics only accessible by MnK, what's stopping controller guys from jittering their joysitcks?
And ALGS, I googled what it is, it's a championship,
controller users, are not high level grinding top of the edge gamers,
99% of the controller players are casual players that just want to play the game for fun,
that's exactly why they play on a controller in the first place,
at the same time, some controller players probably are competetive,
and some of them are gods, @DarthValtrex
but that doesn't stop the nature of controller, controller is from consoles, consoles aren't always competetive,
any questions?
- hayhor4 years agoHero@damsonwhufndthis Controller players cannot move nearly as well as MnK players. Think about the buttons MnK players use to move and you will understand it. MnK players also have an aiming advantage due to their MnKs. Aim assist neutralizes this up close but MnKs still have an advantage with snipers and any middle distance shooting due to this. You can move a mouse so much further than you can move a stick. Think about how that changes recoil control and aiming. If you still don't understand watch a streamer like shiv or albralelie who put their camera on their MnK.
As for the whole jitter aiming. Do you understand how it is done? No way you can do that on a controller. On a MnK you basically vibrate your arm.- 4 years ago
@hayhorI'd be bold to say controller are just too lazy to move nearly as well as MnK player,
the nature of controller in it's full bloom,
you talk about MnK players using buttons:
crough, jump, shoot, aim, move, sprint, reload, swap - aren't each of these actions implenented on each individual button on the controller?
MnK players also have an aiming advantage due to their MnKs, where?
Isn't controller capable of creating a constant speed of aim drift which could follow the speed of a walking/running player?
So you vibrate your arm when jitter aiming on mouse but can't very quickly alternate two random directions on a controller?
Do you mean further or faster when you talk about mouse and stick movement? Probably faster.
Shouldn't controllers on full turn go really fast with the cursor?

@damsonwhufndthis I think both MK and Controller have their own benefits.
I do think MK has an advantage over controller to some degree, but controller players can still have fun in PC lobbies. What I have noticed is this, the people who are on consoles and jumping into PC lobbies are typically either very good on controller or really want to play with their PC friends and don't care if they die a lot.
Look at Shiv, he's on a controller and shreds. But it has very little to do with him being on a controller. Shiv play style is just amazing, he uses everything to gain an advantage, movement, guns, abilities.. All of it..
But either way, we all have bad rounds. My best season to date I posted a 1.28 KD and a few thousand kills and a few hundred wins. So I was basically dying every other match without getting a kill, I'd occasionally die a few matches in a row than post a 9+ kill game.
Simply put the nature of BR is going to involve a lot of death.- hayhor4 years agoHero@DarthValtrex Shiv is a MnK main. He has done controller live on stream and it didn't go well.
