Aim assist wrong?

I was just playing a game on Xbox and while aiming the volt, the cursor was always higher than what I would aim at. It kept pulling it upwards, almost like a snap on effect from aim assist. This was over their heads though. I couldn't hit a thing. It doesn't seem to happen every time though. Anyone else?

@aisthebestletter maybe your controller is having a drift issue?

@maximas1986 I hope not, it is an elite 2 that is only 3 months old 🤣

@maximas1986 it is likely this. These are the type of things that happen when a ps4 controller goes bad on me.

Try blowing in the stick.

I have an elite 2 that needed replaced after 3 months due to drift.. That said, I dont think thats your issue. I've seen this with aim assist as well, like you're shooting but its 'stuck' off a ways, only stopping and reaiming fixes it.
