ALC Tweaking
How did you guys start when adjusting your ALC settings? Did you dial everything up & go down as needed? Or dial everything down & go up as needed?

One thing I've found it's helpful to fine tune are the ADS settings, particularly extra yaw and pitch if you use them. Scout of Action feels very useful for this. I kind of want to play around with the ramp up and delay on these as well as the outer threshold, but it seems just a bit more complicated than I feel like dealing with.
For the umpteenth time, I really wish we could get some sort of tool for practicing real tracking in the range.
@hayhor Watch the video that Verhulst made comparing Gen's settings to Classic. The difference in results, from a guy who has spent most of his time on Classic, is striking. His flicks on Classic are incredible, it looks just like MnK.
My settings are just a linear hybrid (7 curve) with 1 DZ, mid senses, and lots of extra yaw and pitch.
@Lord_Scorpion34 I'm interested to experiment with the outer threshold more, because I'd like more control of how much stick motion causes the extra yew to kick in, but I don't want to adjust the delay or ramp up above zero. I want it to happen 100% when it's activated. Maybe a small adjustment to the ramp up might be worth exploring, though. It could perhaps also help produce the effect I'm looking for.
@Lord_Scorpion34 Hayhor and I have both been using AIM controllers since the next gen update. I was using Scuf before that. I really can't speak highly enough about their product. I'm sure that X percent of them get stick drift early or whatever, that's just any controller really because the thumb stick electronics in controllers is just a crappy design in general. They're not really manufactured to survive as much use as they get. Mine's about 7 months old and functioning perfectly still. Just a wee bit of drift on 1% dead zone.
By contrast, my Scuf PS4 controller pretty much had some nasty drift out of the box. I enabled ALC not too long after getting it, and I had to run about 8% dead zone to not have any drift. By the time it was a year old, both sticks had drift (the left stick drift made the controller unusable for Apex) and a problem with one of the paddles.
I reckon that the upcoming Sony pro controller will cost more than AIM and I don't quite trust their quality control all that much.
