- 5 years ago@DoYaSeeMe Hit tweet was wrong from all angles. Basically, comp players who do it part-time weren't notified ahead but one day before. They got work to do, family, etc. so they were complaining about this. Why didn't the devs postpone it one week before when crashes were first reported? They were asking for postponement then too. It isn't bitching, it's called asking the right thing. But hey, HaL TwEeTeD ThIs So C🤭l

@BaldWraithSimpThere are many possible reasons for the late announcement. Can be an issue that testers identified only now, can be issues with servers, can be instability as the latest patch probably doesn't cover all crash scenarios and so on.
To me it's strange that some players didn't factor in the possibility of postponement. It's like someone joining an offroad running marathon event and totally ignoring that there might be mud although it has been raining for the whole week. - hayhor5 years agoHero@BaldWraithSimp They kept going because they thought they had the crashing solved. The EU 1st day qualifier actually went ahead and finished as I watched shiv for a part of it.
