ALGS Team Stream Broadcast

Heya all! So, I am new to Apex Legends, especially in the ALGS scene, but I am a broadcaster in the Rocket League scene. I would like to know in regard to team broadcasts, if there are any observer slots for us to broadcast our Esports team.

The only information from the official Year 6 Rulebook was from 5.1
"Competitors that choose to stream their online matches must utilize a minimum ten (10)
minute delay. "

If anyone knows if there are observer slots, please let me know <3

  • You do not need to register any observer slots within the game, There is a custom UI that will display and you are able to drag your observers into the spectator slots, No registration or forms are required at all, Hope this finalises your question and HF!

    Hello!

I believe there are 5 Observer slots within a private match, I hope this helps!

Yep good to know. But I have no idea if you need to register that observer slot via a form.

This is correct as well, as once a lobby is created, you would share a join code with all of the participants and observers that would be joining your lobby:

Note: To see the join code, click on "reveal" when in your own lobby.

After everyone has joined your lobby, you can then either let them choose their own teams or manually set their teams for them.

Here's what players would see if they can join a team themselves:

After joining a team, they will move from the unassigned list into the team that they, (or you), had selected:

Players can also be dragged into a different team or into an observer slot:

Note: From what I can tell, in order to manually set someone as an observer, they must be dragged into the observer slot, (otherwise as the host, (or as a player with permission to), a button can be pressed to be set as an observer):

Question: "But what if I'm on console?"

    Answer: No worries!

You can use a controller to do the same things mentioned above:

To change the settings for the match, select the settings tab in the top middle of the lobby:

The settings will allow you to:

    • Select the game mode, (Battle Royal Trios, (or Duos), ALGS, TDM, Gun Run, Control, & Wildcard):

Note: The ALGS mode should be the one where players are automatically assigned a drop point like how ranked was for last season.

    • Select a playable map for the selected game mode:
    • and lastly, change additional game options:

For Battle Royal modes, the "Game Mode Variant" option is available if you wish to turn on tournament mode:

Note: I do not know what is different between standard and tournament other than when Heat Shields were a thing, those were disabled in the tournament mode.
