ALGS teams datamining the game

A bit of a drama going around the professional scene of the game in the last 24 hours. Pro players/teams are datamining the game claiming that you can get better knowledge of the ring ending. Do you think the league should prohibit teams from doing this?

As far as I know, as a person following leaks and datamined data, is that you can’t datamine where the ring will exactly end up BUT there is data where the rings would never end. Here’s an example from a thread I’ve made last February https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Know-your-end-circle/m-p/11275850#M198809

The devs can place prohibited zones where the circle can never end on these spots of the map. There is no data where the circle will end since that’s an algorithm on the server side of things. On the other hand, you don’t really need this on the casual level since playing this game for more than 3 years you can guess where the game usually places the circle next.

A good tip for casuals or newer players is that the ring WILL NEVER END on caves or inside of small buildings (areas that have a roof). This was mentioned in one of the patch notes in a past season.

February datamine by Shrugtal which is most likely outdated at this point.
