@Swarth2300I agree. With my limited knowledge of the ALGS, I believe it was the NA teams who mostly use the same set of meta legends while the other regions having more diverse compositions (but still a lot of Gibbys). Respawn must strike a balance between nerfing Gibby for the ALGS not to pick him that much and not nerfing to the ground for regular players not use him anymore. His pick rate isn’t that good really for a nerf.
Or they could introduce a new legend to replace Gibby like what Valk did replacing a lot of Wraiths and BHs. Haven’t played enough of this season to say that NewCastle would do that though.
@Cheese9Man honestly you are right as much as i loathe gibby in ALGS in every other sense of the word i dont mind gibby(in fact i was a gibby main when the game first released), i have not tried Newcastle yet but from what i heard he isnt as good as gibby but a good replacement if gibby wasnt selectable, time will tell though(not that i expect them to go with my idea of banning the most used legend for the next week) but in terms of if anyone use's Newcastle over Gibby when Newcastle is usable in ALGS
