Hit Reg issues & input lag have been part & parcel of Apex for many a season now & unfortunately for many more to come all the while Apex is still running on the creaking Unreal 4 engine (an engine which is well over 10 years old).If anyone has any doubt about hit reg issues in the game there are plenty of Youtube videos showing Pro players & the like ammo dumping several clips clearly into enemies with next to no damage inflicted.And as a gamer for over 30 years who's played a bulk of the major 1st & 3rd person shooters along that timeline from the early Doom games to the Quakes,Goldeneye,Timesplitters,Turoks,the early COD's & Battlefields,Wolfensteins,Resident Evils,Metro's,Far Crys,Titanfall's etc.And so it does make me laugh a bit when I hear comments from players waxing lyrical about how great the gun play feels in Apex when it doesn't hold a candle to many of the shooters I've played (many of shooters I've mentioned) & it's largely how poor hip-fire feels in Apex especially as it is an important part of the CQC in the game.And in all honesty has removing barrel stabilizers from SMG's & adding the laser-sights actually improved the hip-fire to these weapons as it intended because for me it hasn't.Even when using the Digital Scope when you can visibly see the thermal target of the enemy I've encountered many a situation when clearly hitting the target with a plethora of bullets no damage inflicted.
