is there a way for us to bring this up to the right people?? If theres no cross progression, theres no real reason for me to continue playing. This game is fun, but... cross progression needs to be a thing, especially if its going to compare with games that allow cross progression.
I.e ; fortnite, smite, paladins, realm royale, rocket league etc
while only fortnite is in the same genre, i feel like playing those games is worth more of my time, because my money has been already spent there, why not continue spending money where i can access my content on any device.
I agree with this, while I am mostly an xbox player my friends started on PC. Because one of their xbox's is starting to die they stayed on PC and now I am being forced to move to PC to play with my friends and in turn loosing all my progression and cosmetics. Because of this I feel like this game is not worth my time to play and even spend a penny on.

Cross progressions means they would lose out in the money it takes to play different accounts on different platforms. If you think about it from a business standpoint cross progression is bad for business. That’s why you will never see it in a game from EA. Just being realistic.

I would like to submit a counter to this post. I just think that if they made cross progression I would be more willing to keep paying for a season pass. If you create more opportunities for me to play, you are creating more opportunities for me to give you money. I am currently playing on PC with a season one pass. Basically, all of my PC friends have moved on from APEX but I have tons of Xbox friends who have continued to play. I would love to keep playing Apex but as of now, I don't want to have to buy the battle pass on PC but I don't want to start all over on Xbox.
It goes hand in hand with the price of epic skins. From a business standpoint can you price skins at $18 and make more money then if you price skins at $5. I personally would be more willing to spend $5 on a few great skins than $18 on one. Take League of Legends as an example. I wouldn't put down money for a Braum skin that was $10 but as soon as it went on sale for $5 I couldn't pass it up. I put $20 into my League account and know that I have put more money in since. In the long run, Riot has made more money off me (and I'm sure many other people) from selling us a lot of cheap skins vs. a few very expensive skins.

With how much money this game must have brought in since launch this is just a horrible greedy move. The PS4 version of this game is terrible. I can hardly get 30fps most of the time. Why not let me carry my stats over to PC where I can actually play the game at reasonable frame rate and enjoy it? Because money. Also because f you as a consumer. Buy more! Play more!
No thanks.
Also, what happens when the new consoles come out? Am I to assume that I won't be able to use my account on PS5? I'll have to start fresh there, too? Or will I magically be able to transfer progress from one platform to another?

Does anyone know if this is getting fixed with the upcoming addition of crossplay in the fall?

Give us what we have paid and waited for. There is no excuse, it is not "impossible," they just don't want to. There is no more waiting, you have had over a year. Again no excuse
