@DaDeDimsonI understand your point to a degree but hear me out:
It absolutely sucks being the 1% who uses mics for coms to maximize our teams chances of winning.
I understand that we aren’t pros (who all use their mics to communicate info), but part of why a player is successful is their ability to relay information. The ping system is actually really great— but it does not beat the advantages of being able to talk and discuss a situation with your team with mics.
As someone who strives to maximize team play and our chances of winning, it frustrates me when my teammates are all silent. And at the height of the hierarchy of egregious are the people who throw their mic on AFTER they have been knocked, simply to complain.
Using mics to communicate info is an absolute huge advantage for any team— even a team of randoms.
- 3 years ago@Axs5626Sxa5001 I get that and that’s the trade off in being silent, but let’s be honest, if you solo que a majority of the time and play with randoms, you’re not going to consistently get teammates that are worth turning your mic on for due to the reasons listed above. It’s not worth it to communicate if I can barely hear the match in itself if there’s background noise, whiners, or you can hear the person breathing into their mic.
