Another. Loba. Glitch.

So I have two more. The first one you've probably heard of and the second one might be new.

Problem #1 - So one of the least frustrating but most common is the glitch where you teleport behind where the bracelet actually lands.

Add-on to #1 - Also sometimes when I throw the bracelet, it will do the animations where my hands cross even though I never went anywhere.

Problem #2 - This is rare but it has been happening to me more often. Rarely when I teleport on Olympus, I get pushed under the map and I fall to my death.

  • @Tsyeykk I’ve sort of had this happen with the trajectory of my ordnances. Standing still and throwing them, they usually end up short of where they should go if it’s a long pitch.

With my octane pad yesterday as well. I can fairly accurately predict where my pad should land but yesterday I threw one and it landed way, way further than it should...
  • @Tsyeykk They announced a rework is coming to Loba. I think they sort of abandoned fixing her and are simply focusing on the rework. I'm looking forward to it because she's a legend I want to like.

love the animation, wish I could give you more XP.

Could what you describe be related to tick rates?

    https://e-sports.site/misconception-between-64-and-128-tick-nade-trajectories/

Since it is a throw Loba does, can that be affected by the servers being low tick rates? One of the articles above minimizes the differences (the first) in gameplay between 64 and 128, although still measurable with special tools. But what about 20 tick rates. I notice my nades land approximately where I throw them... so I would expect Loba too...

However, the last article provides a proof outline for the mathematically inclined, as to why low tick rates change the trajectory of objects launches/traveling in game.

Because of the articles above I would not really think of what you described as a glitch with respect to landing area of TP for Loba, but rater as normal behavior given the current tick rate. Just my opinion.

  • I've had the issue as well that you just don't move. This one is also not new, but much less common.

Until they fix Loba, try to jump just before you teleport. So that you are in the air when you teleport. This seems to make the bracelet working more consistant.
