I play Controller on PC because comfort and carpal tunnel.
I know for a fact the "aim assist" is no advantage. In a close up fight, M&K beats me 90% of the time.
People complaining about aim assist in this game have never played Destiny 2 Crucible, where all hand cannons get so much aim assist as to be laser beams. It's why the meta has almost never changed from Hand Cannon + Shotgun in D2 PvP.
People are just looking for excuses to dying to bad movement and not using cover. I know when I die to that crap and that is on ME. Not the other player.

Did you try to tune it to your prefs?

This might help you get going, because you can tune it to help you quite a bit when they try strafe you. But aim assist wont help you much if youre all crap at aiming, but it helps you get stellar if youre good :D

I'm afraid you've got this backwards. Controller has a great advantage in point blank encounters, precisely because of aim assist. This is the heart of the complaint that MnK players have against aim assist being in the game (or, more specifically, being unable to opt out of playing against controller players on PC).
Also, no more 55 hour streams for you, OK?? Your fans worry about your health!
