I'm afraid you've got this backwards. Controller has a great advantage in point blank encounters, precisely because of aim assist. This is the heart of the complaint that MnK players have against aim assist being in the game (or, more specifically, being unable to opt out of playing against controller players on PC).

Also, no more 55 hour streams for you, OK??  Your fans worry about your health!

EDIT:  I found a resource to help you understand exactly how the mechanic of aim assist works in Apex.  Informed discussions are always much more fruitful!

    @Cheese9Man Hahaha Ottr is quite the character. I used to really dislike him, but I've come to accept his flaws and appreciate what he brings to the table. I wish he didn't fall so easily into the trap of being a toxic streamer blaming things like aim assist every time he dies. He's a really smart guy with a lot of intelligent takes on Apex issues.
