I have queued a lot of games today(Plat 4) and the majority of them I had to play as a solo... The interesting part its that after happening multiple times, I decided to see how other teams deployed ...

Short squads are the new normal. And a compelling reason to NEVER queue in a playlist with a quit penalty. Stick to pubs and if they can't deliver a full squad then just quit and re-queue. If the populations of ranked and mixtape drop to nothing then just maybe they'll get the message. Or maybe not. Who knows?
