Makes more sense to turn off X hit marker.
Having X over moving targets is harder to track as visual distraction. Just need damage numbers as that already indicate impacts.

@PeterN_UK It doesn't make any sense to turn any of them off... You want to know when you have hit someone and how much damage you have done.

But showing damage number already means you've hit them, so don't need the X hit marker? Also I hear audio feedback if bodyshield hit or meat hit
The x covers target when moving, so would be easier to track without it.- 5 years ago@PeterN_UK I have been a COD player for years so it's so natural for me to see the hit marker...
In this game, due to the amount of bugs you get its a good idea to keep them both on. I can't see how that would make any difference.- PeterN_UK5 years agoSeasoned Ace@rockyboy1998 It is just preference.
i.e. When you are going firing at moving target the X can be visual overlay distraction. The X can cover the target. But at least damage numbers already indicate impact and the numbers are shown above and not over the target.
