@soccerking122 I do both actually but I totally understand your point, the skill/rank ceiling got higher, I feel that diamond and plat is becoming the norm nowadays.
the diamond used to be special, but anymore, it feels like everyone can achieve diamond, and it's not something that you can flex with.
one of the reasons that you see a lot of people in this rank play like they just started playing this game and when I spectate them, watching how they play I always wonder how did they reach this rank, but if I make a mistake due to the pressure of pulling out fights alone while my teammates staying at the back like they are going to die in real life they start telling me how noob I was.
the same thing with arenas, I started grinding arenas just yesterday, during that I saw a lot of weird things, and a lot of times I had to take things with my own hands and deal with enemies like I am alone and my teammates played the role of decoys, nothing more which made me understand a lot of rant threads in here about arenas.
pubs is another story, if you drop hot with randoms the chances to get eliminated in the first minute are very high unless if you get very lucky with weapons, and if the jumpmaster dropped in the right spot.
and if the drop was wrong and you split to drop in a different spot, the moment one of your teammates gets knocked then the only one to be blamed is you so it's a lose/lose situation.
in conclusion, the way I started playing pubs with randoms is just dropping wherever the JM is going, loot quick, and try to get out of there.
after that is just keep moving and look for fights.
