Apex 2.0

I personally haven't heard any news of it (Both Unofficial and Official)

It wouldn't make much sense for EA/Respawn to work on a completely new version of Apex, unless they were doing a big overhaul of the engine or other technical section that would require the game to be "remade".

Though Apex has commented before (Around a year ago) in a Reddit AMA that it would be a massive undertaking that would pull critical resources from the live-service game.
So this likely means that it would result in the current game dipping in quality, and probably see a huge reduction in playcount soon after.

So I personally believe it's quite unlikely for them to do something like that.
