Apex badly needs new game modes
Ive played this game over 100 hours. But i havent played at all the last 3 days and still have no desire to play right now Part of it is just natural burnout from playing a game a lot. Part of it is...

Patience is a small behavior we learn as we get older. Along with haveing some good morals, dont be so demanding. Let them get their feet in the mud and wait anxiously. I hope to see you in kings canyon.
3 months for 1 new mode, when the game launched with only 1 to start with
Wow you have some pretty low standards for what they are capable of. If they cant add a simple solos mode in 3 months then they should not be developing this game
Of course they CAN add in solos they couldve easily done it from day one. The problem is they wont for whatever reason and our job is to convince them that its the right thing to do
"but the average person doesnt" ok and how do you know what the average person wants?
If you asked the average person if they would like to see a new game mode added into apex legends right now i would bet the answer is yes. It only has one mode theres obviously a lack of content here
ShadoWawker, calm down there, please. Rational discussion not irrational name calling shouting match. Devolving into name calling doesn't help your argument, it just makes people mad and leads to an end of discussion.
On the note of a new game mode, 3 months is a very short time for a new mode. They've been working tirelessly on fixing bugs and testing new legends. In a game like Apex there's a ton of testing and balancing to do, especially with problems like hitboxes, where there's no real clear-cut solution. Be patient, it takes a lot of time to get things right, rushing doesn't make anything better!
On the note of Solos, there are a LOT of good arguments against it. Like a LOT of them, they're truly sound arguments, such that I can't even think of how to go about countering them. I'm still for Solos, because I love everything about the idea of Solos, but it's silly to say there aren't good arguments against Solos, there's pretty much nothing but good arguments against them. Other than server space, I laughed a bit at that, I'll admit.
Just really quickly a few of the great arguments I've heard are that the Legends were designed and balanced for three man squads, not Solos. Think Lifeline, a core part of her character is the ability to rez people in combat with her shield, rezzing wouldn't exist in Solos. Legend diversity is another great reason against Solos, three man squads means you have to have three different people per team right now, in Solos why would you play anything other than a monster like Wraith with her tiny hitbox, or an even worse monster like Lifeline with her super fast heals/shields? Statistically you'd win significantly more playing people like them over other Legends. How about rezzing and respawning in general, that's a core part of Apex, but it wouldn't even exist in Solos. Then there's the hackers, who'd be much much worse and more destructive in Solos. In three-man squads I've managed to kill some hackers by taking them out while they were auto-snapping to my teammates, in Solos they'd be nearly unstoppable.
There are plenty more sound arguments, those are just a few off the top of my head, but they're all good, sound points. Again, I'm totally for Solos, love the idea, I'd be thrilled to be able to play Solo, but there ARE good arguments against it.
