Crypto's drone EMP has a flaw, in that you can negate all of its shield damage by simply dropping your body shield in front of yourself. I can't say for consoles but on M+KB this can easily be accomplished with little warning.

While the EMP can still impede the players movement, this method of avoiding damage doesn't feel intentional.

Do you guys plan to do anything about this?

The least invasive solution I can think of is to slightly increase the time it takes to drop (not swap) body shields. Their is generally no other reason why you would want to drop them in a combat situation so most people won't notice. And it's easy to explain because removing protective wear should take longer than dropping a gun.
