Apex has a new competitor. Will they fix their game or fall to the competitor?

Not naming competitor here, but will say it's free to play on Steam. More modern than futuristic. Strikers (aka Legends/Agents) with passive and tactical abilities. Vehicles and choppers. Rocket ...

Curious to know what the game is and whether or not it's on xbox. The only thing that gives me any pause when it comes to looking for new games is the fact that most of them have a significant number of cheaters in them while they're still in beta. If I'm gonna have to put up with cheaters then I may as well stay where I am and not have to go through the pain of learning a whole new game.

Did some research into the copyright owner, it's a China owned ISP.
Why an ISP owns the copyright on a game, I'm not sure.

    Apex may have issues but it is still a great game.

      @Asmodeus566 Where did that come from? How is the Finals a competitor to Apex?

      More games to play the better, especially when most FPS games don't seem to get the point at the moment. The Finals is not my cup of tea, but a lot of people do seem to enjoy it.

        The info came from Steam Charts.

        Yes the Finals and Apex are not very much alike however others here in the past were really outspoken about how Apex was so horrible and that this new FPS game "The Finals" was going to K.O. Apex.

        I did not believe that then and I do not believe that another new FPS game can do that right now.

      @Asmodeus566 The Finals also still a good game but way different than Apex as there's no BR mode. They're also tweaking the BP too much this season making it very hard to finish it unless you grind.

      But I still like the concept & they're keeping the lore very loose so it's not a big deal in the game nor will it stagnate like the lore in Apex has with several characters.

        IMO, if it isn't BR, it has no place in comparison to Apex. Therefore you make a good point.
        PubG and Fortnite lack characters with skillsets, so not good for comparison either.
        Similarly Battlefied 5 Firestorm, which is pretty dead, and lacks characters with skillsets.
        I think Modern Combat 5 tried something like Firestorm as well.

        Bloodstrike is the first one I've heard of that is actually similar to Apex. It's still in Early Access though. And is a China IP.
