Apex Is A Team Game
That's why the teammate you'll get is the kind of guy to:
- Get to a supply crate AFTER I do.
- Whine in voice chat that I'm taking HIS loot despite him getting there second.
- Upon being given the loot that was "taken" from him (because I want to resolve things peacefully and if he really needs it sure you can have it), he calls me a trolling motherf-.
- I decide to double down, just start yoinking any loot in his general proximity, needed or not.
- Second teammate doesn't see what happens, immediately takes the voice chat guy's side.
- First squad encountered, voice chat guy dies immediately dealing 66 total damage.
- VC guy continues to complain, not calling anything out, not using mic for anything other than spewing verbal abuse.
- Starts whining that I'm not picking him up. Sorry you opened the convo between you and me with hostility despite clearly being at fault, did nothing but be rude instead of making comms or LETTING ME HEAR THE GAME, and you want me to pick you up?
- Starts trying to backseat game telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing.
- I get close to him twice, pretending that I'm picking them up, leave 'em laying in the dirt.
- Gets pissed off and disconnects.
- Second teammate I pick up, but then after another fight decide they don't want to be in the match anymore, "falls" off the zipline to Salvage and insta-disconnects.
But yes, Solos would be harmful to the game. Apex is a Team Game, and Works Best As A Team, and Everyone Plays As A Team, and there's No Toxicity Ever At All, and wanting a Solo Mode means you're a toxic piece of crap and you HATE Apex and the developers.
