    @HappyHourSumwur People love drama. Youtubers that need to make daily videos need something to talk about so they make these vids. There's been things that have resulted in a drop in viewership and player count such as changes to ranked, poor sbmm and big name games being released. But it's far from dead.

I define dead as, when I go to login and the servers have been permanently closed.  (e.g. City of Heroes)

Comparing Steam numbers to Origin numbers is not the best method to answer the question of game popularity.  While I do play on Steam, it is not the only platform available.  I recently posted here about the waning popularity of each season this past year of 2022.  I didn't use the Steam Chart numbers but the percentiles of growth at each season startup.  To recap that post; Mad Maggie's season was the highest growth in 2022 and this current season shows the least.  There are many factors at work here.  It could be the way they promoted the season, the legend they offered, server downtime, other new games and media, etc.. It is difficult to predict trends in online gaming.

Overall the game appears to be in decline.  It could bounce back next season, depending on what is popular or how they promote this game.

Probably is dieing they flat out just dont take any action against people murdering the game for anyone else

Trolls smirfs cheaters whatever thsy just absent as with almost every other game that could have been great milked for cash with cosmetics everything else ignored.
