Apex Legends and weapon recoil, strike packs.

It's been proven that 75% of players cheat in this game. They all use scripts, xim, zens and strike packs.

And if that is the case, wouldn't it make sense for the devs to tone down the difficulty of the game for legit players? Why do all the cheats exist after all? To bypass all the difficult aspects of the game.

I've ran into players gliding on the ground shooting their weapons with perfect accuracy while you could barely track them to shoot. Why is that kind of movement allowed? What chance does a new player have against someone using macros like that?

Youtube is chock full of elite apex gamers who always have a slight screen shake when they shoot with no noticeable recoil in sight. They do this openly, is only some cheating allowed in Apex? 

Can we get an official list of allowed cheats or do we have to figure out which are which on our own?

the biggest reason you see those clips of no recoil is usually because people ads and walk left/right at the same time, it takes a sec to get used it but it gets rid of recoil. practice it.

Tap strafing. Great. Yet another example of PC B.S. which ALONE should justify segregated lobbies. As if all the other PC cheating wasn't enough. Putting PC players into their own lobbies wouldn't solve every cheating problem in this game, but it sure would solve most of them.

Yea it does not do that much to cut recoil down... and you suddenly have to track your target a lot more due to the added movement. I've been practicing it a lot. Every day I play Apex I go into the firing range or custom games and shoot for a while. Weapons like R99 still kick like a mule even with strafing. 

Either way the game is absolute trash to new players, you are literally a bot compared to seasoned players due to the all the arcane bull**it mechanics that Respawn allows into the game. Oh and cheaters literally bypass all  these difficult aspects so only players that are oblivious or stupid enough to play legit get hampered with. 

Yes do segregate lobbies, I play around plat/diamond atm and just about every single console player I spectate has no recoil whatsoever and godlike target tracking. The moment I switch to a PC player you start seeing the weapons kick and bullets miss a lot more. I don't have all day to spectate players but from what I've seen it's absolutely filthy the level of console cheating.

Yes there are PC cheaters out there but it's so **bleep** obvious when one is doing it. You can report all day console cheaters who obviously  cheat(their target always has a lot of micro-shakes) and nothing happens. You cheat on PC? You get reported and banned.

If Respawn wants for this game to ever grow again they either need to reign in all the rubbish mechanics that allow people to super glide/fly/swim- whatever BS movement "tech" that requires scripts and macros, and probably make a lot of the competitive weapons easier to use. The new player experience is absolutely miserable. 

Why is that? Because cheating is rampant. Playing legit against other people that move two times faster than you, have no recoil, have assisted aim is never going to make new players stay with the game, especially when there was no money investment up front. The game will just die a slow death, choked by all the cheaters making money.

That's true, although they'll probably delete this video link faster than they'll do anything about it.

Unfortunately, honest, good players in the narrowest skill distribution on the right (pubs) have it the worst in this game. The number of obvious cheaters is as high as ever. And I'm not talking about 100% HS, because that's almost nonexistent, but about soft cheats like wallhacks, lack of recoil, macros, etc.

New players in the middle or left of the distribution experience these kinds of incidents much less often. Good and honest players are the most likely to leave the game, while new players who see such videos simply don't join.

The game has unfortunately been infested with cheaters for a long time, but for some reason, this isn't the main problem for Respawn to solve.

And believe me, I'm a PC gamer and it's not any better here.

Good players have been struggling in this game for a while now.

You reach Diamond and don't have a good team -> you don't play ranked anymore because you often have to play against 3-stack masters/preds. Unfortunately, the ranking system has also been destroyed. Currently, we have three ranks: Platinum, Diamond, and Master/Pred. People who frequently reach Platinum/Diamond shouldn't be here at all due to their skill, but the points system for these ranks is so easy that it's hard not to get there since S22. As a result, Master/Pred has had ridiculously easy lobbies for several seasons, which they're destroying.

You move to pubs and it turns out your skill distribution looks like people with higher skill play there than in ALGS.

And that's where the game ends for these people. You just need to be reasonably good at the game and be in the same lobby where cheaters are most likely to be.

Everything u said i agree with. I’m ready to quit the game and im day 1 player who hasn’t used cheats. I saw someone cheating in mixtape today so that’s cool😭 the games unbearable I could go on and on about the problems in this game but I already have a thousand times. 

I’m console player I don’t use cheats but I can beam with r9 u just hold the stick down to eliminate recoil and that goes for every gun really, yes there’s still some recoil but most of it is gone. But that aim can’t compete with movement like mnk no matter how good my aim is and can be I will still die to mnk wall bouncing multiple times and doing crazy shiii I could never do on controller. But let me add there’s a lot of cheaters playing rn and that goes for every single server. Died in mixtape clip was so sus I sacrificed myself to the guy multiple times to see if he would do it again next time I saw him he hit every single shot but it was body shots instead of headshots so idk if he was good player or not but how I died was I was falling down from above him and mid air he hit only headshots I didn’t see him miss any shots and killed me instantly soo very sus.
