@TorridestJet568 Agreed, the canisters are basically useless now aside from camping a building in which you can set up in... Even in those situations they have limited value IMO.
I quit playing him. The last time I did I tossed a trap down next to a player who was picking up loot.He proceeds to pick up gun 2 stacks of ammo and then shoots down the trap. I start trying to box him and during that process tossed down 2 more traps. Not one was activated and I was dead.
It was really bad, to the point I have not played caustic again. He has some of the worst abilities in the game combined with the second worst hit box in the game. You then have the legends who have the best hit boxes in the game combined with the best abilities in the game.

- @DarthValtrex Gotta have to disagree here, while i think the Caustix nerf was bad design and unwarranted, Caustic had one of the best universal abilities in the game. My win rate and K&D significantly improved since i picked him up as my main back in S2. But nerfing him into a niche role while completely ignoring his downsides into a pure camper is a bad move imo.
- @BigBlackCaustic Point taken, I don't main him but definitely played him a lot this season until the nerf to canisters. I've tried it a few times but just get frustrated with how easily the canisters are shot down. I don't expect them to win fights for me, but I would like to be able to at least control the flow of the fight and areas around me with them.
- @DarthValtrex Caustic is not an easy Legend to learn, especially offensively. Thats why people used to camp with him a lot even before the nerf.
I rarely came across other Caustics that used aggressive tactics, only a few times. Its strange that this aspect was the one that got nerfed when most people i saw complaining always talked about him camping.
- @BigBlackCaustic Agreed. My win rate went up when I switched from path to caustic in season 4.
The rotating barrels not going thru windows is annoying as hell now tho.I'm #3 in OCE 20k kills on caustic. I have 400 season 5 wins. But this nerf is ridiculous
