Just curious. What’s your personal game of the year (even though it was nominated or not)?

@Cheese9Man I think my goty will be GoW Ragnarok, although i still have to finish it. But for now it's a masterpiece. Objectively i think Elden Ring will win it, with GoW having some chances.

    @Cro_Pittt Elden Ring looks brilliant. Not something I'd play tho since you can't change the skill level.

      @hayhor I really like the combat system in souls games but they are too long games for me (ER can last longer than 100 hours lmao) and i don't like their narrative, i've tried bloodborne but never finished it.

      @hayhor Bro, it is a literal masterpiece. The storytelling, or lack thereof, is what people find weird. I like the mystery, personally. It looks brilliant because it is. You can change the skill level just by playing, you level up and bosses / levels don't level up with you. This might sound like cheating and easy, but trust me, it's not. Things hit HARD in this game. It's no. 1 for me, but seeing it's not pvp, the replay aspect is limited. Although I doubt you'll even see everything in your 3rd playthrough without any help...and expansion is underway too so.... You see this is games. It's art, not money. Play it, and you'll see what the hype is about.

    Was happy to vote for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (even though I know Arcane will win because LoL 👎 ) which reminded me that Cyberpunk 2077 had been out almost a year now and was hopefully fixed.

    For the most part it has been, and it's been fantastic playing a single player game that again respects my time. Also reminded me I really want to run or play a game of Cyberpunk Red that's sitting on my game book shelf.

    Voted Destiny 2 / Bungie for all the categories it came up in too.

    Not a thing that Apex was up for was something I would give credit for when they still need to

    and the audio issues from Season 9 still persist to this current season...

      @Kyldenar I’ll buy cyberpunk once the big DLC releases. Really excited after watching edgerunner.

        @Cheese9Man I got it at a 50% off sale, and it's totally worth that. Considering 3 backgrounds at average of 50 to 60 hours (or more, if you try to get every side job done and buy all the apartments and cars) so about 150 - 180 hours of single player content if you want to do all 3, I could see full price being fair (at least on PC, I can't comment on console).
