apex legends restarts my pc

    Just an update since yesterday for people with the same problem in case this works for them as its worked for me, at least so far anyway with no crashes/restarts

    I have a 1440p 75hz monitor and when i play apex at 1440p i get crashes/pc restarts etc, i fixed this by changing in-game resolution to 1920x1080 and i set my fps to 75 (not sure if i needed to set an fps cap, haven't tried without) but seems to work good so far since yesterday with zero crashes so hopefully for people reading this with the same problem this method fixes your issues!

    Will post back if it crashes again

@C-Sheldon88Cheers I'll try running at this resolution for a bit also and see if it crashes. It crashed before on Duos so at least I can test on there without losing any Ranked points lol. I'm on a 144hz 2560x1440 monitor.

    Let me know how it goes mate, if you use 144hz at 1920x1080 resolution and it crashes try a lower refresh rate at the same resolution

    I wish we didn't have to mess about like this though it kinda sucks playing it at 1920x1080 when it looks much better at 2560x1440

      @C-Sheldon88I completely agree; I didn't buy this monitor for a lower res & refresh rate haha, but if it works for now it's good I guess!

      Is it still stable for you then at 1920x1080? What refresh rate is yours at? Cheers 🙂 I'll be able to test it out tonight after work

        Exactly mate.. Yeah it's still fine for me i'm using 1920x1080 with a 75 fps cap (currently my monitor is only 60-75hz until i upgrade to 144hz) i did try the 1920x1080 resolution with no fps cap and it still crashed so i'm forced to set the 75 fps cap

        Also i disabled any Freesync for the game so maybe it'll be worth disabling any Gsync you may have etc
