Apex Legends SBMM doesn't work anymore HELP

I don't know about other Seasons but Season 9 and 10 where so balanced that i was able to try out new Characters for me like Lifeline with no Problem but now its practically nearly impossible :/
My highest one was Plat 4 flat on 0 Points too but only because you can't de-rank back to Gold after you hit Platinum and also because as said, I play ALOT but still... my Skill is on Silver or Gold Level and not Pred 3 as the Matchmaker seems to think.
The way I see the SBMM is that it purposefully weakens teams in the pre-stack master/predator lobbies, so they can harvest You like crops.
I have been in such lobbies also, but I immediately d/c. Sometimes for SBMM to "derank" me (in PUBS!), I had to d/c up to 10-15 times in a ROW to not see pre-stacked master/preds... but even after such many disconnections I am still in lobby with a master or predator.
In short these lobbies are not for You to win, they are for them. SBMM purposefully gives You weak teammates, like it does to me.
The SBMM is actually EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking), and as You can see in these master/predator statistics it works perfectly for them, they ARE ENGAGED.
- @PsyhiX69 Exactly. Most of us are here to be easy kills for streamers so that the game looks good on twitch.
Since the game is free, we are the product, and our deaths are marketing.@KyldenarQuick question: what advice do you have to people who practiced to improve so they can win more often, but end up exclusively playing the top 3% and ultimately lose as much as those who are below average?
Any advice?
@Axs5626Sxa5001- Just stop taking it seriously.
Unless there are event skins I want, I play my 2 matches a day and am done.
Only ever play Unranked.
I don't really worry about grabbing good loot when it's just going to be delivered to my killers anyway. (I also oddly shoot much better with semi auto crap and that stupid bow, so I'll hapilly take the crap no one wants anyway). One time I carried only the bow, arrows, a P2020 with one mag, and then a backpack full of L1 sniper mags. I got a chuckle imagining how disappointed the guy who killed me in the last 3 squads was to open that box.
Turn off all the voice chat. If they want to verbally abuse you, make them do it in text for easier reporting.
Oh, and drinking. That helps make the game fun. Everything is more fun drunk during Covid!
