Apex Legends SBMM doesn't work anymore HELP
This is my first post so please be kind if i don't make everything right here. I normally don't post Stuff like this on Reddit or the Forum here but it has gotten to an Point where i can't enjoy ANY...

@Axs5626Sxa5001Playing ranked ONLY works if you're Diamond+.
Otherwise, you're just going to get literally * by dozens of smurfs every single * match. Control is the only playable * mode for people who aren't amazing at this game.
There's no reason for new players to play Apex. There's no reason to try in ranked. The only way to play ranked is to hide as much as you can and give up; because there's absolutely no * way in hell you're beating any of the top 5 teams.
Seriously, come play with me. You will find insanely skilled smurfs in 100% of my lobbies. You will see level 40 Wraiths with 900 kills. You will see level 11 Pathfinders with 100 kills.

- @Axs5626Sxa5001 No, but pubs shouldn't be a place where lesser skilled players get destroyed (not just beaten but run over like they are nothing) by better players or cheaters almost all the time. That is what is happening now. I'm one of the lesser skilled players, so why shouldn't I be able to enjoy the game? In my last 30 matches or so, I think I've gotten maybe 15 kills. Everyone I run into instantly kills me in milliseconds. I'm not running around in the open either and I can hit some of my shots, but none of that ever matters. That level of 'success' is not enough to keep me playing. All the preds/cheaters can have that crap and enjoy the sweaty matches they get. I, for one, hate being the one that is pub stomped repeatedly.

Below average players have below average performances (wins and kills)- @Axs5626Sxa5001 I would like to feel like my enemies are at least somewhat closer to my ability. Right now, I get obliterated repeatedly and honestly don't know what else to do. I try to use cover, heal/charge in fights, be smart about what fights to take, etc.
Good players should play other good players, bad players should play other bad players. That is NOT happening right now...at all.

It’s not a bad thing on the surface.
But a mode that ALWAYS pits you against your equal becomes pretty stressful. This is call a “curated” lobby. The lobby has been specifically designed.
If everyone is always playing their equal, then players of all skill win at the same rates. Want to win more consistently? Too bad. The moment the game realizes you improve, the SBMM algorithm goes and finds someone to beat you. This is not how the casual mode in any game should work.
This is probably exactly how ranked should work. But public matchmaking should probably provide variance. No SBMM all together is probably not the answer. There should 100000% be SBMM for people learning the game. But after a certain experience point, a casual game mode should loosen its SBMM.@Axs5626Sxa5001 No. It isn't. That's completely false. I find I tend to get very green team mates and come up against very good players (smurfs? Who knows). Over and over again. I've tried ranked a few times and I get just destroyed. It's not against "equals" at all. I 100% reject that claim. Not my experience what so ever.
