Like what I’ve said in another thread, smurfing is not a problem in pubs since they’re immediately placed in higher tier lobbies after a few games. But the problem is in rank. It’s so easy to reach level 10 and enter rank. I suggest raising that level requirement to at least level 50 to at least detract some smurfs. If I were a newbie at this game, it would have been so demotivating and frustrating for me in ranked to play against diamond up players in bronze/silver.
I know most of us here are competent or above average players but look at it through the eyes of a new player.
@Cheese9Man apex is one of the few games that lets people play the more "competitive mode" of pubs so soon. I'm surprise this isn't a thing already
