Apex Perm Bans for Inappropriate Language: A Second Chance
Players who have been permanently banned from Apex Legends for using offensive or inappropriate language in text chat should be given one final chance to recover their accounts, especially if the ban happened a long time ago. For example, if a player has been banned for a full year because of writing one offensive word, that period should be considered enough time for them to reflect, improve their behavior, and change the way they communicate. Losing an account permanently under these circumstances can sometimes create more frustration and aggression instead of helping players learn from their mistakes. A fairer solution would be to restore the account under strict monitoring, where any repeated violation would result in a permanent ban again. Also, Respawn should clearly announce when a reporting feature for voice chat abuse will be added, because many players use the microphone to insult or harass others without facing the same level of punishment as those who type in chat. If voice abuse reporting is added, it would help reduce toxicity and create a fair system where both text chat and voice chat violations are handled equally.
