Apex ranked rework SUCKS

@Asmodeus566 I get what you mean, however getting RP now requires a playstyle that doens't fit my definition of skilled. I understand its the devs who decide what skilled means and theres nothing we can do about that.
Btw don't you thing the placement / kill RP was more balanced last season? Like, in order to gain big points you needed kills and placement, but you did not lose much RP if u died early with lots of kills. Many early kills where like a safety net.

S12 was pretty good, better than S10 and S11, but put to much emphasis on placement one could theoretically Rat to Plat 4 and be hardstuck and no help to true plat players.
S12 also allowed for Hot Drop Harry to go off on their own, screwing their teammates and rank up, fun for harry AKA Rambo but left their team in 2 v 3 because they could not bother to play a team based game with a team.
I think that S13 is attempting to fix the situation, encouraging team play and discouraging individual play. One can still get early KP and then play for placement to maximize.
One could still be Rambo with enough sense to think about placement and not push every fight solo in order to rank up. Just harder for them now.
Hot Drop Harry and Rambo are for Pubs now.
The game is not a TDM it is a BR so survival and kills both matter. I think the system is better now, but still needs tweaks to make it even better.
Back to basic's, what is the goal as advertised in the game since season 1, to win the match place #1. getting a 20 bomb and placing 11th is a loss.
- @Asmodeus566 Alright fair enough, Respawn can't make everyone happy at the same time anyway. A Permanent ranked control mode would be dope to for us gunplay focused Hot Drop Rambos.
Please Respawn ? 🙏 Control is great, I love the fast paced action, there is still a goal, but gun skills are where it is at. A Ranked Control Mode would be neat as long as the spawn killing issue can be fixed.
I feel I have had a great discussion with you about this. Refreshing that even though we do not agree on some core issues that we were able to respect each other and be civil.

What makes up a great 3stack team?: 2 Rambos the good guns hunter killers that can listen paired with an average to an above average shooter that has great game sense that can act as an IGL to curb the gunners from over extending and maximize placement.

- @Abyssloli what's wrong with arena ranked? it's your playstile after all... Battle Royal is about winning the game... reach closer to the 1st position... number of kills are just a way to eliminate other teams to win the game.. the reward of killing it's already to get a position and the loot of that team... it has nothing to do with the final target... to be honest a real BR should give 0 RP for the kill... since you should kill anyway to win.. but then would be way to try hard and boring.
Arena on the other end.. is kill the enemy to win the match... - @nwevolution Arenas are only 3v3 I prefer the huge brawls and stuff with 3+ teams

As for your question you play your way and I will play my way. Really dose not matter to me as long as I am having fun.

You aren't going to change tactics to adapt to the ranked system. You'll use the same tactics but far worse, to advance.
nobody asked for these changes and the new changes reward only those who can grind. If you cant grind you cant do anything. season 16 was fine and NOT broken at all. There was NO reason to ruin rank for solo Q players as it broken rank for teams as well. SO they need to revert back to season 16 rank or hot fix all the issues still affecting ranked. It has NOTHING to do with adapting to ratting...which no one likes unless you are a lazy trash player. stop defending this...oh wait you must be a gold player who is only able to rank higher because of ratting trash player
