@bosourd I think that some of the big issues that people complained about were being fixed. I also think some of the games that were competing with Apex for peoples attention (cyberpunk and others) have sort of played out. Footstep audio is not nearly as bad as it used to be. I still notice it from time to time, but the times I notice it I can blame it on other things then just bad audio.
I have noticed a huge increase in the number of active players in my friends list.
I also wonder if it's the two free event packs? That's a fairly big incentive to play the game. You'll get at least two Epics which honestly look as good if not better than some Legendary items and potential 2 legendary items.
