Apex vs Warzone

@Palette24carats Here is another idea: how about they made tournament registering ingame so you can try the competitive aspect of the game.

I would pay for this, let's say there is a tournament it costs 100 coins to register, you have to be Gold 4 to participate you need to have a KD of less than 1. Prize pool could be 1000 coins or more

Was it a tournament, pubs or rank Diamond game?? No way to know! It just displays game stats.

@Palette24carats Warzone ranked isnt so bad, in fact I preferred it to Apex ranked since it went live wednesday.
I went from bronze to silver faster that I could with Apex which I went from rookie 3 to bronze 4. Silver seem so far. Such a long grind and nothing different with Apex ranked 3.0; same Kdr, higher entry costs, lower starting rank. damn.

150 players on warzone ranked, lots of action, don't need top 6 to earn points

@Palette24carats Alright I'm gonna break it down and try to answer each point. It's mostly from doing Google searches and/or based upon my own experience as a S0 player.

-I'd like to have the $ numbers for both games cause I feel like Warzone bring in far less money than Apex does.

 Apex has already passed the 2 billion mark. Warzone is estimated to make $1.9 Billion a year (with 500 million being in microtransactions during Year 1). Which tbh it does make sense they release more content and more often than Apex. So in that sense they probably do easily make more money. And you've obviously got the cross game content which no doubt helps.

who needs cross progression when you can simply login with the same account on different platforms?? No need to ask for a platform change or to have them deal with your change of mind ever!!!

 True but this is probably on the way at some point. Considering they said originally it wasn't do able I'd say it's not too bad. We just have to be patient *insert eyeroll here*

 2FA could be a lot better like more games and probably prevent smurfing as much but we'll see.

 These two are similar so I'll address them together. Apex needs ingame activity kickout because it's ridiculous to have an afk teammate in a "team" game with no backfill. I mean yeah I've had team members come back like 10 minutes into the match but it's still a disadvantage no one needs.

Getting kicked from the lobby is a bit of a weird one so I'd be interested to see the reasoning compared to something similar like COD as you mentioned or even Fortnite.

-Favorite weapons saved in a loadout: Warzone yes Apex no

 This would only really be doable if you scrapped like every white attachment. Looting would probably have to be redone unless you did loadout drops like in Warzone which I guess would be a workaround as long as it was balanced.

 Apex has a similar function. Nowhere near to the extent Warzone but its not like someone can lock you out from choosing your character as it's only a skin.

-Game search by lowest ping number possible : Warzone yes Apex no

 I'll always be one of the first people to cry about Apex servers so no comment on that one xD

-Vote to replay with same random squad: Warzone yes Apex no

 Probably need some clarification on this one. Do you mean inviting people to squad up because you can do that?

 There's not really areas that you can swim in on Apex in all fairness.

 I don't think there's a setting in general but you can do it individually. I don't think they'd make it a setting as they're big advocates of Apex being a team game so communication is key.

-Ability to text chat in the language of your choice: Warzone yes Apex no

  huh? I mean you can type in whatever In-game chat? On console it's easier just to plug a keyboard in but yeah. I'm not sure about it being any different in Warzone because I just use a headset.
 
-Solo, duo, trio , quator mode available: Warzone yes Apex no

I'm sure this is just to keep the playerbase from being divided across game modes and keeping waiting time down, but from the popularity stuff I've seen I'd hazard a guess as there's potentially more people playing Warzone so they can do that more easily, even with having a higher player count per match.

 I haven't really played Warzone since the Godzilla vs King Kong event so this mode is lost on me. Apex did have that exploration mode which was a bit weird. Probably the closest we're gonna get to the non fighting modes of Fortnite.

 -Ability to play to get weapons and customize them and save it back there to use it to come back, this is in        Warzone DMZ

 Are you referring to unlocking weapons and attachments?

 They've had elements on this on LTMs so maybe it'll come in at some point you never know. I think it takes away from the strategy side of getting revives tho. You'd basically end up getting saved by a sweaty teammate and most matches are sweaty enough as it is.

This is a new feature this season. Stat tracking and mastery skins. True, it's in its infancy but it has been introduced.

I suppose that they could include the stat tracking that's in the firing range. It's probably the closest to what you want.

There's an element of this? Granted its limited to kills and damage. Maybe something similar to Overwatch is what you're looking for?

What exactly are you after here?

@GH0STEDbyME I mean voting to play again with that same random squad, Warzone does it, R6 extraction too. Invites for the next game dont always work most of the time the other player is already launched into another game or not available for invite.

I am telling you, since my game is in french I cannot type anything in game chat... game chat doesnt even activate.

@GH0STEDbyME Well there is a very good advantage at being able to play the gun you love with exactly the gear you love on it, just like in the firing range... but you can't in game! This sucks, maybe it could be added to Control, Tdm, Arenas.

What is fun too is being able to loot in game and bring it back in your game, just look at extraction looter shooter games.

Points per minute or hour stats would be way better to assess the quality of a player... a hot dropper would be close to being negative, a smarter one playing for points way better. Could be better than MMR and KDR for rank evaluation

@GH0STEDbyME They introduced the weapon stats right after this post I made.
Still we want to have it after each game: headshot % accuracy %

Warzone has a Competition tab in game, it links directly to watch comp live and shows the calendar for all the upcoming competitions, no better way to promote comp.
