APPEX LEGENDS CROSSPLAY ISSUES

Hi, there’s a problem with crossplay on apex legends on PS platform 

Because, player count is too low, there are so many PC player in console lobbies, can’t enjoy games because of that 

when I turn off crossplay, icons of platforms just disappear, but there’s no proof of crossplay being disabled. 
there are still ppl who tap strafe and ppl with Russian nicknames (it’s not allowed on PS or Xbox, you can use only English) 

sooooo here’s the question, why in HELL crossplay toggle is even in the game, if you can’t turn it off? 
and why just disabling platform icon under player’s nickname?
it’s just ruining experience for me
