Appreciation for the mini map

Question

I was not aware that Apex has a hard mode where the minimap would not show up. I was playing with my friend and when we loaded up, the minimap did not load for the BOTH OF US. Only now I realized how useful the minimap is. Were were playing in Stormpoint (hate this map for pubs) and I definitely had a difficult time traversing the map and locating the circle if I were inside of it or not. Most of you know that if the circle is blinking, you're not in the circle yet. Yeah you can say just look at the big map but having to pull that up multiple times is kinda annoying too. I'm using a custom button layout so I can't ping using the big map as well. We're also spoiled now of the new map feature of detecting enemies during drop. Please Respawn fix this.

It's pretty darned rare, I've only seen it a few times.&nbsp; There's another bug where you get no crosshair.&nbsp; Did you know that if you spam Square (on PS) when the countdown to the dropship leaving starts up (Waiting for Players), you can eliminate your HUD entirely?&nbsp; I had a friend who just needed to try this after I told him about it, then he complained non-stop about having no HUD until we all died not long into the match.&nbsp; I mean - what did he THINK was going to happen??

@OldTreeCreeper I'm certain that it does! I did post about this a few months ago when it first became known. It drove me crazy having to admit I don't know the names of your buttons, so I looked it up. X!

I know you like to wander the map in a solitary fashion sometimes, so I'd imagine that you might get some enjoyment out of this bug.&nbsp; Take us some nice screenshots.

@pandareno1999Yes. Had that the other day when I got impatient waiting for what seemed like 25 minutes during the "Waiting for players 59/60", and I... accidentally pressed all the buttons repeatedly.

@Cheese9Man&nbsp;ive been pleading for some attention to the big map in the later stages of the game. It can be worse than useless, so I'm jumping aboard (hi jacking) your thread&nbsp;😃 thank you and goodnight&nbsp;😉Currently almost useless&nbsp;Could be useful with a little adjustment (thought)&nbsp;
