My big question is where are they getting their data from, and how. How did they test how it affected game health? How did solos negatively impact the game? How did some legends become useless? To sit around and say, "Oh hey we tested it we have data." and not even allow people to take a look at the results and the process behind how said data was gathered holds just about as much weight as someone DMing you on Discord and saying essential oils kills the Coronavirus.
For something like weapon and legend balance changes, you can see it during play. People flock to what works the best, and from there you decide if x is the best because it's way too strong, or because other alternatives are just terrible. It's a simpler thing to balance which is why you wouldn't need to release oodles and oodles of data for every single change. But for something like justifying not adding a highly requested game-mode and chalking it up to, "Oh we looked." and not specifying where and how just seems lazy.
