@sodahere Yeah you'll get some Epics and some legendary skins, you should have a few legendary skins by now. I have received 2 legendary items in a single pack before, and 2 epic skins in a single pack fairly frequently. Granted I've opened a ton of packs (probably around 1400 packs or maybe it's closer to 2000 packs I can't remember exactly).
They are not a predator company, the Apex Packs are RNG based and 100% random. When you open the pack in game, it stops the RNG and that code correlates with items in the game. What ever it stops on you get. You'll have streaks of getting a ton of really good stuff from packs and streaks of getting less desirable items. But over a large sampling of packs it will average out.
I can understand why you'd feel that way if you've only opened a few packs. I felt like they were not worth while when I was making my first purchases. How ever after opening so many packs I can definitely say they do average out. You'll get some good stuff and some bad stuff.
Don't forget to look at weapon charms, quips and other content that many players forget to look at.
It is painfully obvious you're getting paid or offered some sort of incentive to protect the brand so meticulously. Either that or a sadistic form or ecophilia.
Sure, it's a first world issue at most. But it does actually still disgust me. I thought I'd throw my yelp of how vile these companies are but I don't care to THAT level to debate it.
Sad that people go to such extremes to defend giant company's profits. They're scamming on a level so deep that everyone is outraged. But damage control it to this extreme continue to profit.
Pssh, and you'd think the world could have a ANYTHING - so much as a fun silly online game - that wasn't plagued by extreme greed, monetization.

@sodahere Nope I am not paid, if I was paid I would be an employee of EA and have an EA tag, I'm neither. If there was something wrong with the RNG I would be pointing it out. I'm fairly vocal on here when I don't agree with something they are doing or don't like something about the game. I have been fairly critical of the crafting material system.
I know how RNG work and I know how the system works. I used to have a huge interest in slot machines, that's where I learned about RNG. When I was younger I was curious if I could find a way to make money off of slots and the best way to do that was to understand them. So I read about them and RNG's because RNG are what operate all slots. Apex Pack feature use a very similar RNG system that slot machines do.
I have received no Apex Packs for free. I explained how the system works.
If players are having issues with content in game and they post about it here, I talk to the CM's about it and make sure they get the help they need.- @sodahere Oh and greedy? Come on, Apex is entirely free to play. You don't have to make any purchases. You also get nearly 200 packs for free (you will get a few legendary items from those packs). You get free premium content from events. They gave 2 event packs away for free, which had at least 2 Epic event items.
How is that greedy?! Do they have items that cost a ton? Sure, the heirlooms are not cheap. But you don't have to buy them. They have no impact on the game play for function and give no advantage.
They invest their money into creating these games, with the idea being they see a return on that investment. They pay the devs and creators to create the game with the hope that it will generate a profit. What is wrong with that? - @sodahere You feel disgusted playing a completely free to play game, with zero pay to win and tons of free cosmetics given to you just for playing and having fun in this FREE GAME.
I feel disgusted that you have the audacity to even say they are a predator game company. Your level of entitlement is off the charts, and you need to be brought back down to earth.
