@Koochi-QSure your odds of winning are 0, how ever your odds of not losing any money are 100%.. now the odds of you becoming wealthy are significantly higher if you don’t play the lotto. lotto is Government gambling, it’s even more of a scam than a casino. The lotto is literally a tax on the poor.

For example the average lotto scratch of pays out just 56 cents for every $1 spent. If that were slot machine its effective payback percentage would be 56% far below the federal minimum of 72%. You would on average lose 44 cents for every $1 spent. If casinos tried this the game would 1. Not be approved by the gaming commission and 2. No one would play it even if it was. Casinos already have issues when they try and set payback percentages below about 82%. Those who do set it below 82% run into the issue of having a short term spike in profits but long term losses. It’s not fun for the gambler and they will either 1. Never gamble again or 2. Find a new casino. The casino industry is in trouble right now because of this very situation. The short explanation is they got greedy and did a ton of damage to their future.

But it gets worse.. this is Government gambling we are talking about, it’s corrupt. My town should have multiple top prize winners every year, based on our population size and the sales volume of tickets. Yet we don’t, I can almost guarantee those top prize tickets are handed out to friends and family members of lotto employees. Funny thing happened, I brought this up on a gambling forum that is watched by the companies who produce scratch offs, slots and lotto games. Guess what happened in my town a few weeks later? Someone mysteriously won a top prize.. imagine that.
