Whoa! You are level 783???? You must have been playing since launch. Just wow, now I know I need to keep at it and do some serious grinding, I thought being level 63 was an accomplishment. 🙂
Thanks for the information though, I think the problem is we naturally want everything right away without hard work, reaching level 1000 is doable, but will just take time and patience.
I recently unlocked ranked as you can tell by my level, but I haven't tried it yet since I want to master the other modes first. I think now that I know 63 isn't that high I will stick to grinding by doing pubs and getting practice on shooting and movement at the firing range.

Nothing in this game gives you an advantage except the pay to win weapon skins. Weapon mastery gets you nothing but cosmetics. Legend mastery doesn’t exist yet, however it’s rumored that weapon mastery is beta for legend mastery. Leveling up only gets you packs and legend tokens that allow you to get other legends every 20 levels or weapon recolors which are purely cosmetic. Heirlooms give you no benefit except for bragging rights and are purely cosmetic.
The only thing I can think of why you’re dying so fast is because of the constant cheaters and Smurfs that are constantly in this game.
