Ballistic’s tactical is fairly annoying for both ends, it stops the core gunplay of the enemy and it doesn’t feel very satisfying to use. I feel like instead of the overheating effect, his tactical should apply an extra damage effect like vantage’s ult for 8 seconds? That way his tactical would feel more fun to use, involve gun skill, and wouldn’t restrict the enemy from shooting but force them to play carefully as his tactical does now. Thoughts?

@BeamMeUp47 Having watched people play Ballistic i can say his tactical seems very strong. Ive seen pro players get wrecked by it due to the overheating of their gun. It is quite strong def if your in close quarters preventing them from unloading a full mag in someone.

@BeamMeUp47 Im fine with the tactical as it is, it makes him the best duelist in the game.

@BeamMeUp47 There are quite a lot of legends who in some way can interrupt gunplay. Wraith Phase as an example removes her from battle not being able to fire at all. Where with ballistic you still get the option to fire but they will overheat. Crypto ult also highly disrupts gunplay as the slow from it is quite strong. Bang can interrupt gunplay with smoke rendering people unable to see targets so they wont fire. Wattson fences also highly disrupt gunplay as the slow from that makes it virtually impossible to control the movement. Overall a lot of legends can do what ballistic can just some are a little worse than others. Mind you this is not me disagreeing with you just pointing out in some ways quite a bit of legends can hinder gunplay.

@BeamMeUp47I've run into some really good ones in solos. It's a horrible experience knowing you've been hit and can't shoot back. If possible I make a run for it but that rarely works.I wouldn't mind a change to it like you mention. Most legends have a counter. He doesn't seem to have anything that counters it.

@E9ine_AC for sure, but the legends who have more penalizing abilities are usually more easy to avoid. And yes Wattson players can spring a fence on you, but it takes skill and a lot of effort to pull off. Ballistic auto locks onto anyone within range using an offhand ability, yet it’s still quite penalizing.

@BallisticMVP tbh i hardly even see anyone playing Ballistic in my lobbies anyhow. Which is why I never found his abilities to be troubling on my end. He just doesn't exist for most players. Very rare to run into them in my lobbies.

@BeamMeUp47 If you're on a good team you simply fall back & they cover you while the tact wears off. You can still use your abilities & throw Hades. You just have to switch up your tactics once hit. This game is not 1 dimensional so gun play stops quite often depending on Legend's abilities. I should play Ballistic more. He's pretty fun.

@BallisticMVP I never said I wanted to nerf him. I said I'm for a rework to make him viable to defensible. The OP is a ballistic main and he's the one that started this topic.

@Lord_Scorpion34 You can't fall back and let your teammates do things in solos. If you dont run away your just dead. That's where ballistic stands out. And from my experience he's got a pretty good pickrate in solos because of it.

@BallisticMVP i wouldn’t consider it a nerf, i honestly feel like it has equal capabilities. Its just not as annoying to counter, even though it can punish you just as hard

@BeamMeUp47 But you would essentially take one of his greatest features away and that is to stop the oneclipping.
I don’t know I love his tactical because an enemy can’t oneclip me
