Banned

I got banned about two weeks ago The tos says i was caught by cheating however at that time off period I wasn’t used my account! Someone break in  to it hacked and use cheats on it! All it happened I...

    Hi there, @Infamous_iNF.

    You can dispute the action taken on the account 3 times. If they are still declining to remove the ban, it means multiple investigations have been performed and no evidence was found that warrants removing it. I'm very sorry, but in that case, the ban will need to remain. However, if your account was hacked, you should contact an advisor to make sure it's completely under your control. That can be done by opening a case here. Thanks!

Nobody is going to read that unless they are having issues in the first place. Obviously this problem is widespread and they should have made a pop-up reminding us to enable 2FA.

    @B0n3SawMcSizzla  I don't disagree, but I mean do you need a pop up reminder to keep your bank details private and secure?

    We are ultimately responsible for our own accounts, and this issue of accounts being hacked isn't a new one....People really should be more aware and take the proper precautions to limit this kind of problem.

        somebody did on my account and I haven't even been logged into my ea account since i got new pc, so since then xbox has been off, been playing eft, warzone and thought you know what where can i find battle filed games i had baught years ago ill log into ea, oh i cant i have an active ban account on a day i wasnt even on, for what ? doesnt even have any info just says active ban no detaills of offense this is a joke I think im going to make a video on this bs, paid for games i cannot play now and ive never done anything against agreement or whatever , lmao so upset and then i have to go through hoops to intouch with someone. why bother ill just never purchase an ea game ever again goodbye

      @MandatoryIDtag I have to agree. 15 years ago, I could understand people not being in the know. These days though, with how much everyone relies on and uses tech, it's just common sense to have layers of security like 2FA. I still can empathize with people, because I have a heart, but this really shouldn't even be an issue in 2021.

        @dSKyNafinchin 2FA is kinda buried in the Origin settings and is easy to overlook if you have multiple game launchers. 2FA should also not really be needed if you have 10+ character passwords - unless you have malware on your computer. Starting this season in Warzone there is a popup to get you to enable 2FA on your Activision account.
